Trained at Europe's leading schools for circus and movement theatre, Philipp Boë specialized first as a performer and then as a director in cross-disciplinary stage productions.
In his quest for innovative creation, he combines various forms of expression (acrobatics, dance, puppetry, physical theatre, etc.) to create performances characterized by a strongly visual language and physical play.
His solo piece "Mémoire de la nuit", a pioneer piece of the genre "Nouvelle magie", toured half the world and was awarded several prizes.
As a director, he has staged around 25 stage and outdoor productions since 1998.
In 2018, he founded the company Raum 305 with Moritz Haase and Jarnoth, which sets new standards in the combination of circus arts and puppetry.
