An interpretation of Günter Grass's novel „The tin drum“ in the form of a multi-media circus and contemporary live percussion performance. Episodes from the novel condense into a kaleidoscope about the confusion of young Oskar who decides to stop growing in order to become a methodical observer of the madness of men. Virtual hero, Oscar moves and reacts on the screens to different gestural and sound events which occur on stage.
